Responsibilities and Requirements
- Weld according to blueprints, instructions and CWB standards
- Use and read tape measures accurately in fractions and decimals
- Safely use hand tools such as grinders, hammers, etc.
- Adhere to safety standards, procedures and policies
- Work in a team, safe and respectable environment
- Produce quality work in a timely manner
- Experienced MIG welder is preferred
- Organized and motivated
- Enjoy working in a fast paced friendly environment
- Lift, carry and move up to 50lbs safely and comfortably

Manufacturing Technologist - Experienced in Continuous Improvement

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible and accountable for continuous improvement and efficiencies across the company
- Drive improvement in the production process to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery is met
- Create and drive workflow with the focus on reducing cost of goods sold and improving throughput
- Drive improvement in information and communications flow throughout the company - working with cross functional team to understand big picture aligning with future growth structure
- Establish production metrices/goals with production manager and have plans to execute
- Analyze production data, adjust and optimize for higher efficiency using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Facilitate and coach on efficient flow in communication, equipment, materials, people and product
- Plan for future expansion projects using 1-piece flow and lean techniques
- Identify wastes, implement improvement plans, and execute
- Implement preventive maintenance program to minimize unexpected downtime
- Create standardized work procedures and train accordingly
- Audit SOP’s on a weekly/monthly basis - creating improvements where needed
- Work with the Senior Management Team and central functions to deliver service excellence, and assess operational performance against required KPI's

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in manufacturing/engineering or equivalent training
- Experienced in continuous improvement methodology (Lean Mfg / Six Sigma)
- Excellent presentation, organization and problem-solving skills
- Prior management or manufacturing experience is an asset
- Effective communication and organizational skills - proficiency in English
- Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills and ability to drive cross-functional team
- Technical competencies in manufacturing (e.g. technical drawings, blueprints, CAD/CAM)
- Proficiency in Google, Microsoft, and other industry software

Mechanical Drafter/Designer - Technician or Technologist

Roles & Responsibilities:
Jigs & Fixtures
- Design and prototype jigs and fixtures to improve production flow and efficiency
- Prepare bills of material for manufacturing and material purchasing
- Coordinate activities and schedule trials in production, and resolve design issues
- Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
- Create training documents, train and coach production employees on their uses
- Work with accounting to track jigs/fixtures as assets for amortization and depreciation

Product Development Support
- Create manufacturing product drawings based on customer’s requirements
- Create detailed drawings to support sales, prototype production and manufacturing
- Study, prepare and analyze details and architectural drawings of product proposals.
- Review product design for compliance with customer contract requirements and specifications
- Investigates and resolves customer issues regarding design and utility of finished products
- Create parts, subassemblies, assemblies, manufacturing, application, installation and layout drawings to support different needs of applications
- Occasionally travel to client locations for consultation, field measurements, installation assistance and inspections to insure quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements:
- Technician or technologist
- Working knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor
- Drafting / designing experience
- Metal sheet and tubing knowledge
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Manufacturing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated high level of professionalism
- Ability to multitask efficiently

Class 1 Truck Driver / Material Handler

Job Responsibilities:
- Loading up trailers with finished products to be shipped to customers
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
- Performing pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection of truck systems and accessories
- Ensuring cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and following safety procedures for transporting
- Communicating with Maverick Industries and customers as necessary; and reporting non-conformance, accidents or violations
- When not on the road - operating forklifts and assisting with material handing - loading/unloading products and RMs/supplies as needed, counting and entering materials/supplies into inventory system, kitting and delivering materials to production areas, moving semi-finished products from one production area to the next.

Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 years of driving experience with winter driving
- Class 1 Driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and reliable
- Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Forklift experience is a must have
- Love working outside
- Able to lift and move material weighing up to 50lbs
- Has an understanding of inventory, kitting and yard organization
